This will pass

My feelings of discouragement and hopelessness will go away. I just need to be patient and do the right thing.
I was a disobediant teenager and I still feel like I'm paying for those consequences! Argh.
Boricua and I will work things out.

Broke Saga pt. 3

Anyone sick of me talking about this yet? Well, guess what... this is my blog and I can write whatever I want. This is like my journal.

Well, we are -45 dollars now. We had to use up our savings. So, we literally have nothing. I have 5 dollars in my wallet from my dearest friend. I'm saving it for gas. We haven't been this bad since we were first married, living in a basement and Boricua was making 11.oo dollars an hour. I don't know what got us off track so badly. We've been hanging in there and we just dropped. Well, first off; Boricua hasn't been working 40 + hours a week like he should. He get;s paid hourly, so needs to work more hours. Alot of it has to do with his work. They haven't allowed him to work 40 or more hours because of their budget. Second, Boricua has to accommodate to my schedule. I need him home before 5:00 pm on Mondays and Tuesdays. According to him, I don't let him 'do what he needs to do' to bring in more money. Which I disagree. I have to go to work Weekday evenings. My income is relied on. We need my income because Boricua doesn't make enough to support us alone. It's pitiful how much he earns. And nothings changed in over a year and I'm starting to wonder if there's anything HE needs to do and change to make more of an effort to support us better. But again, according to him, I don't let him. He doesn't have a college degree yet. He goes by experience and his certifications he earned in Computer School. It's doing nothing for us. We've asked the church for help several times. I'm embarrassed to even ask the Bishop...once again...thinking he might think we're not trying hard enough to be self reliant. BUT WE ARE! We are NOT frivolous spenders. We never use credit cards. We don't go out alot and when we do, Boricua still thinks we shouldn't. He thinks we shouldn't go out all anymore. We need to stay in our house and do nothing. His words, not mine.
It's going to take us a while to get us out of this. I'm saddened that my kids may not get a Christmas. We may not even be able to get a tree. I don't know how we're going to pay for gas or groceries these next few weeks. Boricua's check will go all towards our rent, Mater's school and our utilities. We will have nothing left over. Plus an extra 45 dollars is going to the Bank. Our original food budget was 100 a week but I guess we'll have to put it to 50 a week. I don't know how we'll do that but we're going to have to. 100 dollars didn't get much! Even shopping at Super Walmart y'all! Entertainment was 150 a month and that's gonna half to be 50 a month. Gasoline is ridiculous right now and there's not much we can do about that.

I'm just baffled because we decided to be generous with Fast Offerings this month and not hold off on paying our FULL tithe. And this is where we are now... I guess we all go through our trials but all I wanted as an adult was to be financially secure and I'm not. I don't see it changing any time soon either. I'm starting to feel like I married the wrong person. Not because of money but he's not college educated and has baggage. We don't see eye to eye in alot of things. I might of only married him because I was pregnant and wanted to do the right thing. I feel this way on and off constantly. I don't have much hope for the future of this marriage, sad to say. I really don't. His family isn't very supportive. Mine's too far away. We don't have our degrees yet. We're really young. I don't know... it just doesn't seem to be working, no matter how hard we try.

I'm really considering divorce right now. I need to pray about everything...hoping I find some answers.

Who watched the Republican Debate?

Tonight. On CNN? Even if you aren't Republican, it's good to watch. These are the Men (and one woman) who are running to be our Commander in Chief!
Personally, I don't think any of them were very strong. Alot of the questions were a little ridiculous. Like the question on how they felt about the Confederate Flag...what and how is their opinion on that have anything to do with our Future in this Country? Ummmmm....you decide. It's interesting what people think about it but it's irrelevant for a Candidacy debate.
I'm for Romney but he didn't shine tonight. I was anxious to hear what he had in mind to get us out of our HUGE deficit but he kind of dodged the question. I also thought it was unnecessary for him to say he wanted to through something at the TV when John Edwards said this Country isn't united. A little out of line? NO?What do you think? We need to get more involved. We are the ones who determines our Commander in Chief!

Workout Wednesday

It's been a few weeks since I've posted my Workout Wednesday. I guess I'll do it today.
Here it goes:

  • Bicycle crunches. Assume the crunch position. Bend knees. Lift legs in the air. As you crunch right elbow goes to left knee, as the right leg straightens out. It looks like your bicycle peddling. Switch sides. Keep the Shoulder blades off the floor. Inhale and exhale as you alternate sides. Use your core to keep you up. 50-100 repetitions.
  • The killer push ups. Lay flat on your stomach. Place hands on floor, shoulder width apart. Push up, using your arms. Do 25 reps. Place hands close together. Push up, elbows straight. 25 reps. They seem too easy but you will be dying by the end! It targets your triceps muscles, which is a very week muscle. The regular push up emphasize the pectorals and biceps. These work the smaller, weaker muscles. Try them out!
  • Take your kids to the Park and play with them! Don't sit there and watch them play! Sit them on your lap and swing, run up and down the play steps, climb and play tag! It's the best exercise. I'm serious. It's fun and keeps your kids occupied to go with it! Since there's alot of leaves on the ground, make a big leaf pile. Gather the leaves by bending and scooping with your arms. You naturally do alot of repetitions. You wont even realize you're doing your cardio!

Being Broke saga pt. 2

My dearest, close friend sent us 60.00 dollars for diapers and a little food. My other friend sent us some diapers for Xander. Bless their hearts. I have very good friends. I love them so much . They will be blessed. I gotta do something special for them.

So... we got into a deep hole and it'll take a little while to get back into the groove of things. I might need to find extra work or Boricua will. Especially with the Holidays coming up... We may not even have a Christmas. I honestly don't know how we'll do it.

We'll see what comes through for us. I have a hard time dealing with money issues! I get really discouraged and down. Then I start getting bitter. I shouldn't do that.

We're officially BROKE

Once again...we're struggling financially!! AGAIN... It never ends.
Our savings is garnished, my 200.00 paycheck for work is going to overdraft fees and we officially have zero dollars in our accounts. ZERO.
Wise has 1 diaper left. Prince has 2. We're running out of food and I hope our gas tank will make it until Friday.
You ask, why am I blogging about this? Because it's my blog and I'm TOTALLY STRESSED OUT!!!!
I'm frustrated and kind of hopeless. The Holiday Season is here and we have nothing. If we held off on paying our Tithing last week, we'd still have 260.00 dollars in our bank account.
But the faithful people that we are (well, working on it!), decided to pay it and risk getting into this mess! I don't handle stress well. I buckle under pressure and money makes me go nutty.

I'm praying for a miracle. I just don't know what I did wrong!

Kids say the darndest things

We were driving home. Xander had a little picture cartoon picture of Jesus he got in Nursery. I didn't tell him who it was...
He handed the picture to me and said, "Momma! No Momma! Here! I don' wan' Jesus Christ!"
Well, he better want him! hahaha
I was cracking up.
It's funny the things small children recognize and remember! At least he knew it was Jesus! Jesus Christ, to be exact.

WHITE CHOCOLATE CHERRY SHORTBREAD
Post this recipe. These look like so much fun! I might try them out!

Ingredients
1/2 cup maraschino cherries, drained and finely chopped
2-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup cold butter
12 ounces white chocolate baking squares with cocoa butter, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
2 drops red food coloring (optional)
2 teaspoons shortening
White nonpareils and/or red edible glitter (optional)
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Spread cherries on paper towels to drain well.
2. In a large bowl, combine flour and sugar. Using a pastry blender, cut in the butter until mixture resembles fine crumbs. Stir in drained cherries and 4 ounces (2/3 cup) of the chopped chocolate. Stir in almond extract and, if desired, food coloring. Knead mixture until it forms a smooth ball.
3. Shape dough into 3/4-inch balls. Place balls 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Using the bottom of a drinking glass dipped in sugar, flatten balls to 1-1/2-inch rounds.
4. Bake in preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until centers are set. Cool for 1 minute on cookie sheet. Transfer cookies to a wire rack and let cool.
5. In a small saucepan, combine remaining 8 ounces white chocolate and the shortening. Cook and stir over low heat until melted. Dip half of each cookie into chocolate, allowing excess to drip off. If desired, roll dipped edge in nonpareils and/or edible glitter. Place cookies on waxed paper until chocolate is set. Makes about 60.
6. To Store: Layer cookies between waxed paper in an airtight container; cover. Store at room temperature for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.

Sugar Cookie 101

I need some tips...seriously. Before I sell out and get the Pillsbury sugar cookie dough. I've tried several recipes. Either they're the right consistency to roll and cut out but taste like cardboard, or they taste awesome but too soft and sticky of dough for cut outs. They've never turned out the way I want them to! Who has a GREAT recipe and some tips on sugar cookie baking?
I'm good at making cheesecake
I'm GREAT at homemade caramel
and I'm SPECTACULAR with chocolate chip and oatmeal cookies...
Why not the Sugar?

BTW~ my chocolate chip flax seed cookies are to die for. You couldn't ask for a better cookie.

Prince Potty!

YAY!

Prince just went poo-poo in the toilet! I am EXSTATIC! It's been so hard trying to potty train this boy!
For the record, he's gone number 1 and 2 once in the toilet so far.... maybe he's feeling ready! Does this mean I don't have to buy extra diapers?
It's a miracle!
Let me tell you; you know you're a mom once you blog about a child going poop in th toilet...

NEW TEMPLATE

You likes?
I'm going to put up a 'festive' one later. Stayed tuned!

This is how I feel today PHoto FRiday

I feel like shjsfohsduifhsdjgkd;sfhnsdjkg;dashngjk;hgjk;sdfagksdlg;ajdsk today.
SAy a prayer for me...
This photo better show up!!!!!

Now I"m REALLY MAD!

I just typed a HUGE blog and guess what? My kids unplugged our router and it didn't save my blog!! It's gone! I have to rewrite a whole new one!
I was on a negative kick today anyway but now I'm really irritated!
Well, I started writing the block around 12:30 pm. I took an hour break to feed Wise, put him to sleep, read a book with Prince and put him to sleep and pick up the ghetto apartment a little. It's now 10 minutes to 2:00 pm.
I started out saying what a mess this place is and how lazy I am. We've got crushed corn puffs, throw up spots, cereal and toys all over the floor. I haven't brushed my hair today yet. My bed's not made. I need to vacuum. I need to do several things but guess what? I'm writing a blog in lieu of it! Oh yah, I need to brush my teeth too. My diet is totally shot as well. I've had 3, YES THREE, Little Debbie Peanut Butter bars! Check out how nutritious that is! And it's not just about the FAT. I can burn that off. It's the empty, icky poo poo calories I put into my system! Thank goodness for Diet Coke *Plus (with the 'vitamins and minerals'). hahahaha. That's not very great. Even with the "PLUS". I still love my D.C anyway. I think I like Diet Coke better than Diet Pepsi...agree? ANYWAY... back to my bashing...
We are expected to go to the temple tonight and do a few sessions. My mother-in-law, FOR ONCE, is going to watch the boys. She's the type of grandma that plays favorites. I've never understood it because my grandparents(they couldn't! They had too many grand kids to remember them all! ahahahaha) were never like that and my parents aren't like that either. She only sees my boys once every 2 months or so. There's no effort on both sides. I'd be happy to take them down more but I don't think Boricua really wants to. I think he doesn't want to 'burden' her plus listen to her say our kids have all of these things wrong with them. And(I know you're not supposed to start your sentences with 'and' but I did anyway...) she's terminally ill. She won't be living much longer and I wish she'd see the boys more! Mater is her favorite grand kid. Mater's poor excuse for a mother dropped him off down there for days at a time. My mother-in-law used to tell Mater that ' he came from her belly'. So twisted, I know. I'm just waiting to hear what she'll say when she sees that Wise has scratches all over her face. I neglected to cut his nails and he scratched the heck out of his face. His nails are cut now, BTW. I'm such a great mom, aren't I? Boricua questions my mothering. I don't know if he's serious or not but it still hurts my feelings. I'm doing my very best and I am going to have bad days like today, sometimes. So shoot me.

Thankful Thursday

Here we are again! Let's count our many thanks!
Here are 3 of mine:

1. Music
2. Temples
3. laughter!

Next week is THANKSGIVING(already!!!!!!!aahhhhh). I will post 6 things!!
Who's doing something spectacular next Thursday?
As of today, we've got nothing planned. Yep, we might have a Turkeyless Thanksgiving.
BLACK FRIDAY is next week! Who's going shopping? I've never gone on Black Friday. David works allllll day that day. He works in retail...even though he fixes computers he still has to work all day..only because it's at a retail store. So retarded.

Anatomy and Kinesiology

Does anyone have any links or books on this particular subject?

It is crucially important for dancers and instructors to understand this. We are bending and moving our bodies in such unorganic ways(is that even a word? un-organic, non-organic?)

I need to brush up on my anatomy and kinesiology of a dancer. They have a book but it's a whopping 60 bones. Sorry, I"m not going to spend that much on a book. And no, they don't have it at the public library. It can be any book on kinesiology. I'm trying to find some good stretches as well.

Okay, you're bored with this already. I'll shut my mouth.

I LOVE DANCE.

GIMME, NOW!!

I have a VERY demanding two year old!
What can I do to tone this little guy down?
Does anyone have any advice?
...from their own experience?...
Thnx

8 months today

Wise is 8 months old this very exact day! He has two teeth, crawls, cruises and stands on his feet! His eyes are still pretty light. We're still waiting to see if they'll change color. His hair is darker then his brother's was. He's little but eats like a man! He started 3 rd stage foods a month ago. He still breastfeeds and can't get enough of it. He probably does it about every 4-5 hours during the day. He sleeps through most nights and loves the UTZ brand Puffn Corn! (They're like cheetos puffs without the orange messy crap.) I don't have to worry about him choking because they dissolve quickly in your mouth.
HE'S A GEM!

YAY!

Our 'check engine' light came off yesterday! Let's hope it doesn't come back on!
I know it seems soooooo trivial but it's a big deal for us. Seeing how that's our only source of transportation and we commute for work! We're not loaded with money either. Not yet.... in the future...
I'm very grateful for tithing. For you who don't know what it is, it's giving 1/10 of your earnings to the church. I seem to always be blessed either temporally, or spiritually.

Well, not much to say. It's a very mundane day. I cleaned out the fridge, scrubbed throw up spots on the carpet, vacuumed and picked up toys scattered all around the house. Doesn't that sound like fun?
Next up; teach hip hop @ 4:30, grocery store and teach again @ 7:00.

Holiday Shopping

It's that time of year again! ~ This is the infamous Steele Family phrase used in my home growing up. It was more said like this: " Iiiiiiiiiiiiiitttt'sssssss tha' time-a year agian!"

I wasn't really inot the Holiday Spirit last year. I think due to pregnancy. I wanted it to just be over so I could have my baby. I'm really wanting to go all out this year. I'm going to bake, gift shop with out Boricua around, decorate and get out tree up early. I think we're going to get a fake tree, unfortunealty. No pine needles on the floor, no good tree smell and no more trying to figure out how we're going to discard the tree.

I hoping by this time next year, we'll be in our first home!

Welp, Santa's only going to get a few things for us. We want to save our money so we can go to Utah in January and visit my family. I hope everything works out that way.

I have a feeling Ol' St. Nick is going to bring alot of train stuff... maybe a gift certificate for a massage for mom, a new handbag, pots and pans and some high thread count sheets!!

Is anyone done with their holiday shopping?

Product Monday

It's Product Monday! I know you love it!

Here are a few I enjoy:

Swanson Tri-fiber Complex. It contains Oat bran, Apple Pectin and Psylium. We all know how important fiber is in our diets. Especially mine.

Liquid Baby Powder(any brand) W/ cornstarch. My new thing. It rubs on like lotion but it's powder! Goodbye powder clouds. I prefer using this instead of deodorant. You wont get those annoying armpit stains in your white shirts! I hate that! I also love putting it on Wise. Stay away from TALC. It can cause cancer.

Swanson MACA root. For the married ones. You want more 'passion'? Take one a day and you'll make one very happy husband! :) haha. It's an herb and comes in capsule form. Very reasonable in price too. You can recommend it to your hubby too. If he needs help in that department...hahaha. It enhances your 'drive'. www.swansonvitamins.com.

Chips and Queso from California Tortilla. Need I say more? I'm pressed on this place. Try the Honey Lime Burrito. Yummmmmm. www.californiatortilla.com.

Tune in for next week!!!

Univision

Holy cow, I had a Telemundo experience last night. We had an Univision Marathon!

We watched "Bailando por un Sueno." ~Dancing for a dream.
It's just like "Dancing with The Stars" but Spanish version.
These people weren't dancers and some of them were horrible!
Each couple represented a Country.
The coverage was about 3 hours long.
By the end of the night, I wanted to scream if I heard, " MUSICA! MAESTRO!"
Boricua is trying to get me to understand and speak Spanish.

I believe in miracles

So yesterday morning Boricua returned home from his meeting and told me this; " Our 'service engine' light in the car came on." WHAT? My stomach just sank and I became instantly anxious.
Is it because we need an oil change? It's never done that before...
Is it something minor?
Or is our car falling apart? NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! Not right now! This is the only vehicle we have! We can't afford a new one or pay alot for repairs! What are we going to do? ESPECIALLY at this time of year?
I'm just sick about it.
It's necessary we have a car. Boricua commutes to work and I have to travel to Urbana Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. THE STRESS!! I hope money grows on these trees behind us.
I believe in miracles. I always have. I could be faced with something much worse but this situation is very stressful. Car troubles always are for everyone. But we just don't have the extra cash to get it repaired or trade it in for another one.
I am praying that every thing's okay. I know he knows how important this is for me.
Miracles can happen.

Work 7 days straight

Well, tomorrow will be my first day off from teaching in a week. I've had no break. Even if I'm teaching one class that night, I'm still working. It's been crazy! I teach 2 classes on Monday, 2 on Tuesday, 1 on Wednesday(hallelujah), 4 on Thursday, solo work Friday, 2 Saturday and solo work Sunday. It's insane but I love it. I get exercize every single day! I just bought a new skirt and it an EXTRA SMALL!!!! I tried on a dress and it was a 3!!!!!! How exciting huh! I'm getting there. But still a ways to go. My butt is so flabby. I eat like CRAP sometimes too.

I found my new guilty pleasure! CALIFORNIA TORTILLA. I love that place. I like everything there. Especially chips and queso. I addicted. I need to go to CQA meetings... if they exsist.

I can't believe Thanksgiving is just weeks away and we may not have one! I have no idea what we're doing. Sad huh.

Check out Swanson Health products online. WE just got alot of wonderful supplements! I got this AWESOME Whole Food Mutliple Vitamin. It's loaded with greens. Check out the Amino Acid, L-Carnitine. It helps convert fat into energy. Always take your EFAs! Flax, fish and Borage. All of the Omegas. Studies have shown that EFAs can help reduce cellutlite!!! Of course you need to do your daily cardio as well!

Welp, I"m off to go play the game Elefun with my kids. Until later!

Thankful Thursday

It's that time again! Here are 3 things I'm thankful for:

1. My shelter
2. My metabolism (hahaha) I'm down to my size 5 jeans! Holla!
3. My feet. I can walk!

What about you?

Thanks for the advice, friends

Hands down, my non-stick pans were a rip off! I don't use metal utensils when cooking in them. They were just a piece of crap! I want a stainless steal set.

Thanks jlk, for the advice on the silicone pans. I wasn't sure because they do seem to be very flimsy. Maybe I'll try one and see how I like it.

Isn't cooking so much fun?? I've been tempted to go to culinary school! Or even a pastry/cooking class! Wouldn't it be fun?

I completely forgot I'm in need of bread pans too. I can never make bread because I don't have loaf pans!

So, is anyone cooking for the Holidays? I mean, Christmas? Here's what I am going to cook:

Cornflake Christmas tree wreaths
Decorative sugar cookies
chocolate dipped pretzel sticks
Fudge

I've got NOTHING planned for Thanksgiving and I'm planning on not cooking. I don't want to. Hopefully we'll be invited over to some one's house. Cross my fingers!

No Workout Wednesday today

Go do some side bends and crunches.

THE END.

Tune in next week.*

Baking Pans

Here's a list of ones I need:

1.Cupcake/muffin tins. 24 count preferably.
2.Cookie sheets. Small, medium and large.
3.Cake pans. Round, 13x9 and 8x8.
4. A bundt pan. I don't even have one!

Who's used the silicone ones? Are they any good?

I'm asking Santa Clause for new sauce pans. I got some last Christmas off Amazon.com. I thought they were a really good set. They were the 5 piece Phyleron non-stick set. They are rusted through and peeling non-stick crap. I was very disappointed! They were a 200.00 $ set. I've already thrown away one of them. It was too rusted to use. Boo Hiss. I would like a stainless steal set. I don't like non-stick! That stuff peels off!

My baking set and pans are a pitiful collection.

I guess I'll keep posting...

Even if no one's reading! I'll do it for myself...because it's good to 'journal' sometimes.
I took a few of my friend's advice and it kept me on here. I'm not doing this for attention. I just felt like my sill y blog was a waste of time yesterday. But then I realized how much I enjoy typing things that happen throughout my day on here. It's my only time for ME.
Well, I'm here on my computer. My feet are cold. Due to the poorly insulated windows and the cool breeze is coming through my home. My house is an utter disaster and I'm too lazy to get going. There's cookie crumbs everywhere and beloved spit up marks. I made my Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins today and still need to clean up after myself. I was disappointed because they didn't bake right. My oven is old and they were browning too fast on the top and stayed mushy on the bottom. These muffins are to die for too. They're TOO delicious. I wasn't happy about that. I REALLY need new baking pans. Mine are cheap tin ones and I LOVE to bake. I'd bake over cook any day. If anyone has some good, sturdy ones that they don't need, let me know! I'll buy them! I'll post which ones I really NEED and maybe I'll strike it lucky.
Dang, my feet are really getting cold.
I think I hear Wise waking up from his nap...darnet! He has had the worst runny nose, rosy cheeks and slobber...you know what that means? Right? He's probably teething. He's not too interested in eating either. Just chewing on things.
Prince won't go potty in the toilet. He'll sit on his potty seat and that's about it. I'm trying!!! He's very stubborn!
Boricua has a virus. I probably gave it to him. He was up last night, throwing up. He has the runs today and feels like garbage. I'm surprised he went in to work today.
Speaking of work, I don't have one day off this week. I'm teaching every single day this week. Monday-Sunday. Yes, Sunday. I have to work on a solo I'm choreographing for a student. This completely sucks.
Boricua has Thursday and Friday off and we were hoping to go to New York this weekend but my butt has to teach. When can we have a break?

nobody

Seeing how noone looks at my blog or comments it, I might delete it. It's becoming a waste of time! A big, fat waste of time!

Priesthood

I was thinking tonight and realized how grateful I am for The Priesthood. I am so glad to have a husband who has that authority and he has the ability to help others through the Power of The Lord. It's really amazing.
Boricua was able to help give a blessing to our friends daughter, who is very sick. He was very happy to do it for them and there was no questions asked. He knew he had to do it.
It was actually the FIRST blessing of the sick he's given EVER! So, it's pretty monumental!
For those of you who don't know, Boricua is a convert to the LDS church. He's still learning but grasps onto it firmly. It's inspirational.

I use the word 'really' alot. I need to read more books and brush up on my grammer. I'm turning dumb. haha.

Time away

This weekend, Boricua stayed over night in Montgomery County, due to work. The kids and I had a FILLED weekend with stuff to do...without him. Let me tell you, it was so exhausting but so nice to have a break from him! When we finally saw each other after 36 hours, we were so happy to be in each other's arms. That was our first break from each other in over a year! I realized it was good for us. He was so happy to be home and see ME for once. I really am grateful for him. We just need to make a better effort to get out more and have free time. We get so stressed out and the claws come out!
I too realized how hard it is being a single parent... holy crap it's exhausting! I am home during the day with children but we stay home. It's a chore taking them out! Especially with all of the stuff we did. My gosh. I went to bed at 9:30 last night and slept like a baby. That's very rare for me.
I am very thankful for my kids and my husband.

Insomnia is a B&*$@!!!!

I can't sleep! I'm too keed up from my long night of teaching. I guess I'll journal a little bit and let everyone read my thoughts. WHAT? Am I crazy? Ha, well, maybe you can relate!

Well, Thursday are the usual hectic and long days. It's Boricua's day off and you'd think it'd be a nice day of relaxation and family.... well it's not even close! It's chaos every Thursday! We had Prince, Wise, Mater and the lil' guy that I tend all here. Boricua was doing loads of laundry, I was trying to run errands, feed the kids, take care of lil' guy and prepare myself for work. Boricua is always so effing ornery. It drives me crazy. I don't even want to spend time with him on Thursday. He needs to get out more. My gosh. I get to irritated with him sometimes! He just has to have things done his way, on his watch clock, and to go go go go! There's no time to sit and relax! Does that sound familiar to any of you women? I hope I'm not the only one! He's also somewhat germaphobic and he freaks out if lil' guy and Wise play with the same toys and touch the same things. I'm not kidding! So, he turns it around on me, accusing me of not watching the kids well enough. This is what he said and it killed me, " I don't work hard for another child to use the things I buy for MY kids! " Are you kidding me? What do I say to that? I just said, " Well, I guess when our kids go to other people's homes, they shouldn't use their stuff either, right? " So, he gave me the 'everyones different' phrase. Yah, you're a selfish bugger sometimes! Like, he's so dang uptight lately and needs to relax! Just Relax! For crying out loud. You're making it uncomfortable for all of us to live here! So jog or something. You don't need to work work work work and WORK! REST sometimes! Enjoy life!
Mater's raised in a COMPLETELY different environment at his mom's then here. They smoke, drink on occasion, could care less about education, base their love on conditional things and raise with no boundaries. I mean, it's all they know, so I'm not going ot bash them. Well, sometimes Mater's behavior gets really frustrating. His learning skills are slower but he has a big mouth. His tripled in size within the last few months. He wanted 3, yes 3, hot dogs with buns and 2 oranges for lunch. Oh, plus yogurt and soda. Then he wanted some of Boricua's nachos. I'm really worried about him weight. I asked him what he had for breakfast and he told me he had coffee. COFFEE? To a 4 year old? He said he drinks it every morning. I wouldn't put it past his mom... she 6 months pregnant and smokes, along with the 4 others living inside the house. So, I gave him a lesson on Coffee and why we don't drink it. I don't know how effective it'll be but at least he knows. It's not all about the Whole Word of Wisdom thing either. Why would you give an energetic 4 year old coffee in the morning? IDK. That's just how I feel. Then he came to me and said, " I don't want to sleep over here because you have rules." I asked him, " Don't you have any rules at moms? " He proudly said, "Nope!" Well, okay. That's her problem I guess. Whatever. It's just really hard to help raise a kid where his other upbringing is so, utterly opposite! How confusing for a child! We love U Mater.
Boricua had Prince practice tracing letters a,b,c,d and the number 1. He didn't an EXCELLENT job for a 2 1/2 year old. Yes, we're starting early. He's catching onto it wonderfully. I'm very proud of him!
Lastly, I've had a major case fo the Hershey Squirts and my butt's on fire! So, I've been pained all day! hahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Too much info? Who cares! This IS Soosie's World!
How are you doing?

Thankful Thursday

It's that time again to write 3 things I'm grateful for.
Here they are:

1. My home
2. My friends
3. My talents

What are yours?

Last Night

Don't mind my HERPE infected, self. Blah. We had alot of FUN LASTNIGHT! Xander could've TRick or TReated all night. He kept on saying, " I wan more conny ". Meaning, that he wants more candy. Every house we'd hit, Xander would put his hands up to his mouth like a mega phone and say, " All ABOARD! " Of course! He's a train! By the end of the night, he of course started complaining of his hands being cold and he wanted his 'bebe'; Which is his blanky.
He was TERRIFIED of some of the Halloween decorations! Especially Windapants' crawling hand! She also had a talking skull and he didn't like that either. He only liked the 'conny' part.
We were done witht he festivities by 9:00. We had a great night... I just wish I felt a little bit better!
How was your Halloween?

I forgot...

I forgot to post my 'Workout Wednesday' yesterday. Halloween took me out of the loop. Plus I was feeling really yucky yesterday. TUNE IN next week for Workout Wednesday!
I hope everyone had a great Halloween!
