It's killin' me...

That pic is killin' me. It's so nasty. I need to post a blog so it's pushed down a bit!
I have nothing great to write. I'm only writing to hide the Herpe picture.

I just feel ike garbage today. My right eye is twitching, I have a big growth on my lip, my throat hurts, my body aches and I'm tired. It sounds like the old lady from The Goonies.

Does anyone got any good recipes? hahahaha. Random, I know.
Send me some!

HELP!!! Don't look if easily offended!

I have my very first COLD SORE EVER! I officially have the Herpes Virus. Ewwww. Good thing it's the Type 1 kind or I'd be in some serious trouble!
It hurts so bad. My lymphnodes are swollen. My gums hurt. My throat hurts. My lip is very swollen. It's pretty disgusting. Does anyone have OTC remedies? I don't want this to spread!
I'm freaking out becasue I've NEVER had one before!!!
I was up all night reading about it online. I think I know how I got it! I went to the tanning salon 2 times this past week and burnt my face adn lips to a crisp. Sunburns can bring these annoying, open sores on. My Immune System hasn't been too strong lately either.
It's so icky, icky, poo-poo. I don't even want to go teach dance because I'm so self conscience!
Any remedies people? It sucks!
I've got The HERPS!

PRODUCT MONDAY

It's that time again to post some products I enjoy! Maybe you can do that too!

1. KMS Flat Out hot pressed spray. It's a thermal styler and protectors your hair from the heat of a blow dryer. It gives your hair a little texture too. It's great for the curly dos!

2. Valerian Root. It's my new secret to relax me and get rid of those annoying headaches! It's an herbal supplement and you can buy it in capsule form at most supplement stores or Walmart.

3. One Source Gummy Multi-Vitamins. Good way for your kids to eat their vitamins! They thinks it's gummy bears. They're pretty tasty!

4. Red Mill Whole Ground Flax seed Mill. This stuff is awesome. We all know how important Flax seed is. This flax is ground, so it's very fine. You can through it anything you bake or cook. You wont know the difference except some brown, speckled color. You'll get a good dose of fiber and the nutritional properties this seed gives you.

5. Germ X Hand Sanitizer. I can't go without this stuff. You don't need water and it kills 99.9 % of germs! Wash up, or wipe up!

Spectacular Sunday

We all went to church, EARLY! That's a first. I am glad we did. It was a great meeting.
WE had yummy Sunday dinner cooked by yours truly.
We had the same menu as last Sunday. But instead of rolls, we had honey butter biscuits.
I friggin' fell asleep at 7:00 pm, as we were watching The History Channel about Nostradamus, The Mayans and Edgar Cacye. They predicted the future and I guess the World's going to end in 2012...we'll have to see won't we. That means I can't have another child! WHAT?!
It was pretty interesting but it kind of freaked me out. You know, the way the producers portrayed the show, with creepy, suspenseful music and talking about all of these calamities. Then again, you just can't let those things get to you.
What do you think?

Birthday party

We celebrated my sis-in law's birthday yesterday. She just turned 10.

We had alot of fun spending time with Boricua's side of the family. By the end of the day, we were exhausted! Too tired to go to the Trunk or Treat! Dangit!

PHOTO FRIDAY!

HELP! I'm held captive!

Prison Sucks.

Hip-hip hooray!
Taken this morning!
Wise loves U.

Rain, rain, go away...

Come again some other day! Sheesh, I know we need rain but now it's becoming depressing. It's dark, dreary and cold. All I want to do is sleep. It's pitch dark @ 8:00 am...well almost.

This weather makes my body go nutty. With having Fibromyalgia, my muscles react to changes in weather. So, my back hurts, I'm VERY tired and I get headaches!

Please Sun, pour your light out upon us! We need you!

Busy lovin'

Thursdays are incredibly busy for me. Luckily, Boricua has Thursdays off because Mater is with us that day. Boricua runs around, like a mad man, doing laundry, taking care of bills and watching Court TV(tehe). He seems to be ornery on Thursdays. So guess what I did today? I decided to be soooo nice and sweet! I had Mater draw him a 'pretty' picture and give it to him. I offered to make him lunch... I know, what a shock! I took care of the kids in the morning so he could sleep in a little bit longer and never snapped back at him. I'm serious when I say I'm going to make the effort! Well, he calmed down eventually and there was a better spirit in this home! It really works y'all. If you focus on what you, as an individual can do, to make a better home, the other will want to make that effort too. Love conquers all. No one can argue back when you reach out! And guess what, I feel better about today.
Let's just hope tomorrow will be better...and I'll be able to teach my preschool classes! My Windapants(my sweet friend, who watches my boys when I go to the preschool) is sick! Get well Windapants.
And get well too.
peace
joy
love

Thankful Thursday

I will write 3 things I'm grateful for every Thursday.
Then you reply to me, telling me 3 things you're grateful. Sound good? Here we go. This shouldn't be hard, by any means! C'mon folks! We can probably name atleast 100... or can we? Hmmmmmm...

I'm grateful for:

1. Jesus Christ
2. My family
3. My safety

The Letter to my friend...

Hey, thank you so much for being a friend. I get so frustrated sometimes and I think all of my friend's marriage don't have issues. But it's irrational. WE all have issues at times. Our problem is, we don't give ourselves time for each other. We never go out alone, we're always working and Boricua's communication skills are week. I was at my wit's end and suddenly our bishop from church called us out of the blue to see how we were doing. Then, our home teachers(in our church we have two people that come to our homes once a month and give a lesson. It's so we can all help each other out and be there for one another) they came. They gave a great lesson. They brought in a very good spirit and gave us some marital advice from personal experiences. It really hit me when he told us there's is no easy way out of marriage. We'll be together forever and to make it enjoyable. Enjoy life. Make an effort to make one another happy. Change yourself before thinking of trying to change the other. So, we know what we need to do and yes we have counseling through our church. If we make the effort to do the things we need to do and we're still not seeing eye to eye, then we'll go to counseling. But I'm pretty sure if we do the simple 'Sunday school' things, we'll be much better off. I have faith it will. I mean, the last thing I want to do is divorce. I don't want to become a single parent and have my kids raised in a broken home! Hell no! But we need to work harder on our marriage and not just live day to day, working, not talking alot and living off stress. We need to take time out together to read, pray, go out and talk about our short term and long term goals. We're going into our 3rd year of marriage and it's too soon to throw in the towel. We'll get through it. We just need to relax ALONE! WITHOUT KIDS!!

WORKOUT WEDNESDAY

Here are some strengthening exercises you can do at home:

THE PLANK
Get in the push up position.(The man way, not the girly way)
Instead of lifting with your hands, get on your elbows.
Now hold your body up. Tighten your glutes and abductors.
Hold for 30 seconds.
Lift one leg up, keeping foot flexed and squeeze the glutes. Hold for 10 seconds.
Repeat on other side.
Now rotate the leg out and bring it back in. 5-10 reps. Repeat on other side.
Release. Stretch the arms(triceps, biceps), glutes and quads(legs).
You'll be amazed how much you can get out of this simple exercise!

BOOTY PLIES(plee-aes)
Stand up. Feet shoulder width apart. Lift up, holding in your abductors. Relax the shoulders and keep hands at the waist. Turn your feet out and bend the knees. Make sure your knees are over your feet(you wont see your feet when you plie) and your hips are tucked underneath you(you're not sticking your butt out when you bend). Squeeze your inner things and gluteals. Bend down 2 counts and up 2 counts. 50 reps(build up as you gain more endurance) and hold the last one for 20-30 seconds.
You'll get a bootyfull bottom in no time!
Tune in for next weeks Workout Wednesday!

I'm so done...

He never listens.
He's always right.
I'm to blame.
For all the fights.
There's no empathy.
It never ends.
When can we make ammends?
He's beyond arrogance
It's not intelligence
Because if it were, he'd live in silence.
I'm battling my consequence
for my poor behavior
But I've repented,
thanks to my Savior.
Can we fix this
is there a way
Because I'm at my wits end,
as of TODAY.

MIGRAINES

I had a migraine headache, AGAIN, all day yesterday and didn't post anything. I went to bed @ 10:oo pm, which is very early for me. I felt awful and my body was so jacked form all of the pain relievers and caffeine I ingested. I hate doing that but I was desperate. My migraines are off the charts. Thanks to Fibromyalgia. I'm a big, fat mess. I schlep around the house all day, groggy and messy. It's no fun. I did have a few visitors yesterday! My visiting teachers came by and we chatted for an hour! It was nice. Her daughter and my son played together. Then, my other friend from church came by to drop off a birthday invitation for her son this Saturday. Aw, I wish I could see her more. I did go and teach two dance classes as well. Dance helps get my mind off things. I couldn't feel my pain due to the endorphins pumping through my body. Then my headache would come right back afterwards. If it weren't for dance, I don't know what I'd do!

Gifted or to be Genius..

Boricua always has interesting convos. And they usually always have to pertain to him in a way. He's so silly. That's why I love him!
Anyway, he was reading about Gifted and Genius children. He read some facts regarding genetics, tools and controversy going on today about these gifted kids. I guess these children have a hard time finding resources for them and school won't let children skip grades. Well, Boricua skipped two grades. When 6Th grade rolled around, the teacher wanted him to do 5th grade all over again because of his 'maturity' level. He's still very angry about it because he felt he was held back in his educational progression. His IQ is near 140. He's very smart. But when convos like this go on and on and on and on... I'm over it! hahaha. That's EXACTLY how my dad is and he's so intelligent, it's sickening.
So, Boricua said you can always point out a 'gifted' person when they can never gift you a straight answer... because there can be several possibilities. So they'll say, "Well, it depends..."
Something to think about.
BTW~ Mitt killed Clinton in the debates! Woot woot!

Template Frustration

It took me over an hour to find a template I liked and I don't even like this one very much. I gave up! Anyway, enjoy. Pink is one of my favorite colors.

WHAT'S YOURS?

Monday Munch Night

Don't you think he's lookin' more like his momma?

Tonight was our munch night at Chef Lin's Chinese Buffet. A BUFFET? You ASK? Well, it's cheap, all you can eat and not too shabby for a Chinese buffet! We coincidentally ended up there on Monday evenings, so we've made it a family tradition. We were famished and tired!

I taught my regular jazz class tonight and subbed for a teacher that was sick. Well, the ambitious teacher that I am, we stretched like gumbi and did some KILLER strengthening exercises. My arms felt like spaghetti. We did 'The Plank' pose for at least 2 minutes straight! Try it! It'll kick your butt. I decided that I want to gain more flexibility and strength. Even though I'm not planning on making a career of dancing. I want to TEACH and make a career of choreographing but I think my dance biological clock has passed ticked! I'd love to dance professionally but I don't have time for it. You have no idea how many hours those dancers but into their training. You can't get good like that overnight. Dance becomes their life and well, my family is my life now. But it's alright. Things will work out in their due time. I'll post good strengthening exercises every WEDNESDAY. Be on the look out!! I have some good ones!

Product Monday

So, every Monday I am going to list some products I recommend and/or enjoy.

Here are mine for this 'Product Monday':

Pampers Swipers Baby Wipes. They are thick, stretchy and big. Just what I need to get that messy job done! Plus the smell is so delicate.

The Bumbo Baby Seat. So worth the 40 bucks! It's easy to store and clean. You can take it anywhere and the babies sit snug and upright! I use it for feedings or if I want the babies to stay put for a few minutes. They don't seem to dislike it! It's heaven sent! Plus you can buy an attachable tray for it! Perfect! Goodbye high chairs!

Malibu HEMP Firming lotion w/ subtle sunless tanner. It smells good, very moisturizing, it contains Cq10 and adds a little tint to your skin. So you look sun kissed all year around! It's a whopping 4 bucks for an 18 oz bottle!

Gerber Nature Flex Pacifiers. These new pacifiers are awesome for breastfeeding babies! The nipple flexes as the baby sucks like a natural nipple. They can be used at any age and they're kinda cute ones too. Wise loves them. He was using the Soothies for along time and we decided to switch. He seems to be okay with it!

That's all of the products for this Product Monday! Tune in next week for my latest products!

He's just not that into me...

BEFORE(ABOVE)

AFTER! CRAPTACULAR!

I've had two babies now and as you can see, it wrecks your body. Hence being a nasty, stretchy mess! I don't think I turn him on anymore. I think I turn him off! I mean, how could you love cellulite, stretch marks and hemorroids?? C'mon now!! It's just a disgrace! hahahaha. I'm only 24 and look so beat up already! I wish I never eally cared but it's hard not to when your sig other checks you out and silently cringes! Or when he jiggles the butt and says it's big or this is better; it starts at the middle of my back! He'll squeeze Wise's cute baby cellulite and say, " You have cottage cheese like your momma! Now I know where you got it from! " I love it. It makes me feel so sexy. hahahaha. Not.

If you haven't noticed, I'm frustrated with him tonight. Boricua, "Get ta' BED!" (hahaha, inside family joke!!!!!!)

WALLS

MAYBE

MAYBE

YES!

YES!

So, I've decided to paint some walls in my place. It's so BLAH staring at these white walls wherever I go! I'm going to only do accent walls. Above are the chosen walls.
I'm thinking of Nuetrals. I've looked at some biege/khaki colors. Ya know, something versatile and easy to paint over with white! We're tenants you know! You are more than welcome to give me some ideas! I KNOW MY PLACE IS A LITTLE GHETTO. I work with what I have!! My dream home will be in the near future!! Once Boricua starts making the bucks. lol. I'm joking!!

I can attest

Dinner turned out delicious!
I took a long nap today and Boricua got frustrated with me. So, I was playing Silent treatment with him throughout preparing dinner. I know, it's so childish! But man! We really don't see eye to eye sometimes!
We're fine now. It was so trivial. Arguing is such a waste of time. Seriously. I wish there was no such thing as frustration.

What's on the MENU

It's Sunday dinner time! Here's what's for dinner:

Country fried cube steak w/ gravy (not really FRIED, per say)
Mashed potatoes
FRESH(not canned or frozen) green beans and optional hollandaise sauce
Dinner rolls.

Dessert:
Look below!

eat up you lil' puppies.
BTW~ It's a BEAUTIFUL day today. Could it get any more perfect? It couldn't because it doesn't exsist.

I made cake today

This pic doesn't give it much justice.

It's the crazy Sunday cake! The cake batter was dyed a juicy green and the frosting is a cream cheese butter that is vibrant purple! And heck, why not add some sprinkles and magenta drizzle? I love Sundays.
I played hookie from church today... AGAIN. I'm simply too lazy to get ready. My face is shedding it's first layer of skin and I don't feel like dealing with the whole makeup thing. Boricua and Prince are going. They are so good! I'll stay here with Wise. We'll take a Sunday nap in our messy house. IT IS A MESS and I'm too lazy to clean it up. Waking up early to go work on a solo hasn't help my contribution to being lazy today. I'm really wanting my student to execute this solo and make a great impression not only for her but for me. Cross your fingers!

I found my glitch...

For awhile now, I at times reflect on the person I am. I'll often observe the other mothers in my ward(church) and compare myself to them. It's so silly, I know but I think most women do this. Let's admit it ladies! It's always the women in my ward because we share alot of very important things in common. Alot of them sew, quilt, do scrap booking,etc... ya know, crafty things. They go to all of the church activities and attend church on a regular basis. They cook dinner every night and bake goods for others. They're all BYU alumni and love reading novels. HAHAHA. I'm NOT directing this to anyone specifically. Alot of the women I find myself in comparison has those wonderful qualities. They are wonderful! I'm so happy for them. But guess what?? I'm not like that! I'll tell myself, " Jeez! I need to be more like that! I better go buy a sewing machine and become a Republican! " It's not who I am though. I've gotta remember that. I forget at times. I have different qualities. I use my creativity through dance and envision cute outfits in my head. I love to blast hip hop music and jive around. I love Reality TV. I love Celebrity Gossip...sad to admit! haha. I'm not a BYU grad! I'm not even done with College yet! I was 8 months pregnant when I was married and I'm still dealing with that consequence! This is me! It's who I am! I love to sleep and where scrubby clothes all day! I love to be loud and have Lot's of Gay friends! I don't cook dinner every night and send homemade lunches for Boricua to work! Our Family Home Evening is going to the Chinese Buffet! I have a job that pays me but I'm still a full time mother. I am not that scripture literate. I don't read everyday. But when I do, it's non-fiction books. Mostly books about human behavior and the Mind. I've got alot of other unique qualities. My glitch is; I'm not traditional. My talents are different and that's a beautiful thing. I'm very grateful for who I am and who the women I look up to in my life.

Stranger Than Fiction...

So I just got done watching that movie for the first time. I really enjoyed it! Boricua thought it was too predictable but it kept me guessing! I guess I'm not as 'brilliant' as him. Did ya notice a bit of sarcasm? (Excuse me while I rub my face. It's heeling from my burning it. It's tight, itchy and dry! So annoying!)
I thought the characters were portrayed wonderfully. I really liked Helen, the baker. It's Helen, right? Played by Maggie G. She's a free spirit and loves to bake! I thought she was so entertaining just because of her witt and organic nature. It left me thinking... and those are the movies I truely enjoy watching.
It left me feeling at void for my dad, Einstein. He is an English Lit major and I thought about him the whole time. He has an immense love for literature and reading. He loves witty characters and interesting plots. I left feeling, I wished he was sitting next to me, enjoying the entertainment. I miss him. I'd like to hear what he'd have to say about the movie. This isn't just about a movie, you know. We have an estranged relationship and I'm feeling that reality. It doesn't feel good. I hope my dad comes back into my life actively and we can put our opinions aside. He's my Einstein!
Did you like that movie?

POTTY TRAINING!

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Prince is the most stubborn kid when it comes to potty training! He will not do it! We've tried and tried! Does anyone have the magic trick to master potty training?

He knows how to take his 'Diegos'(easy up diapers) on and off. He knows when he has to go potty. We ask him every 20 minutes and even take the potty seat to the front room. He flat out refuses! I suggest he put on his Nemo big boy pants but still refuses. I've tried bribery with candy or toys... I know I'm such a great mother! I've even let him run around with no diaper on and he'll just pee all over himself! I made him clean up his pee and he thought it was fun! Seriously, I'm at my wits end! And forget about crapping in the potty! He loves lettin' his load off in his Diegos! Ugh.

What should I do?

Halloween

So,I think I want to dress up this yesr! What should I be? Nothing suggestive or slutty!
Help a sister out!

TWO PEAS IN A POD!

PRETTY CRAPPIN' FUNNY! My red face!

Don't mind the torn blind in the background! Boricua needs to replace the blinds!! Get his butt in gear!

KIDS

Wise's forward roll!

HAHAHA!

We were having playtime last night on our bed. Prince thought it'd be funny to do forward rolls on our bed and jump. He kept on saying, "C'mon Bracken!" That's what he calls Wise. So, Wise decided to give the forward rolls a try. He was balancing on his head and feet instead! We couldn't get a perfect picture of that. It was so darn cute. Then he was giving me raspberries! Yes, raspberries! A 7 month old! I can't believe how fast he's growing up. He really is so much like Boricua.
Prince is really starting to talk alot more and it is so HILARIOUS! He tucks beanie bear in for bed and says, " Go to BED! " Then he pointed to his nose and said, " He has a buger." He ran to the bathroom, grabbed some toilet paper and wiped his nose. Finally it was time for family prayer. We asked him who he wanted to say the prayer. He raised his finger very slowly and started giggling. Then he pointed to me and said, "Mama! HAHA!" So, we all folded our arms(even beanie bear) and I started praying. Then, Prince decided to try praying out loud too! But he was only saying, " And choo-choos, trains, MACK, and Cars and choo-choo- and MACK!"
Of coarse he was giggling. Boricua covered his mouth!
FINALLY time for BED! Then I heard, " Mama! I wa' juice bock-ck-ck!" Oh brother... but the way he said it, couldn't help me but laugh. Especially the extra ck-cks'. Oh, Children! Aren't they great?

WALMART

So we made our annual trip to the Super Walmart to stock up on baby food. Have I told you how much I hate that place? Grrrr
It was so crowded last night and people were being so inconsiderate. What do you expect from a huge store for consumers to save a few bucks? Gash dang!
First off, there was this guy who walked passed me and said, WHOA!! How many kids ya got there? TEN?" I smiled back and condescendingly said, " NOPE! Just two! There's not that many!" I really wanted to say, "Shut up! Why do you care?" I don't understand why people have to have so many opinions, especially negative ones about others.
Then we decided to do self checkout. Well, big mistake! There was something wrong with the scanner and I had to scan my 20 jars of baby food about 3 or 4 times times each! This freaking guy, who was buying a pizza and peanut butter cups, must have been in a BIG hurry! He was literally 10 inches away from me, whispering in my ear, telling me how to scan my items! He was doing the sighs and all. I wanted to tell him, " Back UP buddy! What is your hurry? You can go home and eat your pizza soon enough!" But I decided to keep my mouth shut since my kids were with me. Jeez guy, I sure hope your Reese's peanut butter cups and pizza were tasty! Tasty enough to be on top of the person ahead of you!
I dislike that place.

Just in case you wanted to know...

'Soosie' is pronounced like 'wood' but with the ss and ie and without the w d! Jeeze I'm lame...haha... anyway, it's a nickname that started when I was very young. My brother would call me it, then my mom and then it became a household name for me! Sadly, Soosie has passed away for a long time and she is now resurrected! Hooray! That name is nostalic...aaawwwwwww.

IT BURNS!!!

So I decided to go out in the sun(YES, hot sun in October) and lay in a tanning bed for 15 minutes and my face is bright red!! It hurts so bad!! I've got my burn relief gel by my side all hours of the day! Not only does my FACE BURN but my butt is on fire and it's not from spicy food y'all! I am a tomato! It is hurting like crazy! My eylids are the WORST! EYELIDS! Imagine the agony!

PICTURES!!

YES!! You all want pictures!!! Feel free to comment!

How could I forget?

WOW! I am a BAD Stepmother! I totally forgot to mention my stepson, Mater! How could I forget our lil' Mater? He's too much to pass by!

Mater is 4 1/2 and goes to Preschool 3 times a week! He lives with his mom & grandma. He comes over every other weekend and every Thursday. His mommy is having another baby BOY in January. He is very excited! He has ALL BROTHERS! We all wish for a sister someday! Hopefully a Boricua sissy but NOT FOR A LONG TIME!!

Mater has had a pretty interesting upbringing. Definately not traditional. He comes from a broken home. Mom and Dad where never in a relationship. He is such a spunky lil' guy and we love him very much! Prince thinks he is the coolest person ever! They run around the house in circles and pull all of the toys out of the closet... yes closet... I am a depriving mother. Mater is so friendly and just loves anyone and everyone. He loves going to church. He enjoys primary! I hope he will overcome statistics and grow up to be an outstanding young man!

WELCOME!!

Here I am! Starting as of Today, a blog for your pleasure! It is for your pleasure, right? Well, I was inspired by reading all of my other friends blogs to start my own. I love to 'journal'(even though I don't have a BOOK, per say) and talk about my adventurous(what is adventure anyway?) life; so... this was perfect!
Let's briefly summarize a little about ME and my surroundings; i.e, my husband, kids, home, hobbies and friends. First things first; My family. My oldest son, Prince(That what we will call him, along with the other names I give my family for security purposes), my baby, Wise and my husband, Boricua. Yes, I'm surrounded by men! They're full of energy, that I can't keep up with at times. Prince is 2 1/2, Wise is 7 months and well, Boricua is old enough! haha. We are young parents. We had babies young and are still gaining stability. Hence, us living in an apartment that is 35 years old. We live in the most expensive State in the Nation! Yes, you guys, Terp-Ville was rated the most expensive place to live. I can attest that our little abode isn't ghetto and we have great neighbors..tenants...whatever you want to call them. They consist of mostly senior citizens and a few working class folks. It's always very quiet and we live in the "City". So, the streets are somewhat Nostalgic due to the history. I try to keep my place looking homey and cute. I really need to get a wreath for my door but I want to make my own! I haven't found my ambition to do so yet. If anyone wants to help me, let me know! Anyway, Wise spits up all over our carpet, so it looks like we always have dirty carpet. Toys get in disarray sometimes. Prince likes to track crumbs all around the place. He colors wherever his heart contents too. I really try to keep it clean here and welcome for anyone who wants to hang with us! We love company.
Boricua works in the Geek Squad, I know, he's such a nerd. He's really ambitious about building an IT career and I think he will, in time. He's very good at what he does. He is very intelligent and I enjoy the way he thinks. It's very rational... something I lack at times! He has been slowly plugging away with building his client ale for his little sole proprietorship he developed. VIRTUAL FIX. He targets the Spanish speaking crowd. I'll blog about it more later. We are living day to day, trying to better ourselves and work hard for our family. We thrive to succeed in all we do. Whatever the kinks life brings us. We work them out.
As for me, I am a danceaholic and make money doing it! Yippee. I also watch 3 kids during the day to make a few extra bucks. It's exhausting at times! Leaving at night to go teach dance is my medication! I've been dancing my whole life and was raised in a dance studio. My mom had one for 23 years! Yes, in good ol' Utah.. my home... that's culture I DO NOT miss! I teach mainly teenagers right now. Those hormones really are funny! I have time with my mini-ballerinas Saturday mornings and two Fridays a month at a preschool. I love the small children! They're so fun! My teenagers are alot of fun too because we can do challenging things. All in all, I get a very good workout in all of my classes. That's been my catalyst of getting rid of my baby weight! I still have a few more pounds to go and those would melt off if I changed my diet...but I don't want to. I like cake.
I teach Jazz and Hip hop right now but my dancing is versatile. I've been trained to do most styles. I don't do ballroom though. My love is doing choreography! I intend to choreograph for shows. That's my creative outlet and it's where I thrive. People enjoy it and that's all that matters. I started making up dances when I was, gosh, 4 or 5 years old. I'd help my mom choreograph dances when I was 6. My first dance solo I competed in was all choreographed by me when I was 7. I guess you could say, that's what gift God gave me. I'm my own worst critic and think I still need alot of growth though.
LASTLY! Yes, I am LDS... A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day-Saints. According to some folks, we are a cult and have secret handshakes. Oh yeah, we aren't Christens either. We're just a bunch of Ideologues that wear magic underwear! Hey but that's okay! I enjoy every one's opinions and I REFUSE to debate about Religion! Rest assured, most of the stories you hear about 'Mormons' aren't true and laughable. Do me a favor and find the 13 Articles of Faith and you'll get a better idea about what we believe in. Like anyone, I struggle with my Faith at times but that's what helps me strengthen my testimony! I'm open to any one's ideas and opinions! So please share!
This Welcoming is just too long and I'll stop here. Keep updated with my *NEW* Blog and I'll post more things!
