Now I need a frosting recipe! A really good one, that'd compliment a dense chocolate cake.
I'm going all out! Why not? It's his birthday!
Thanks Kamie for the recipe. 6 T of oil is about as much as any other recipe. So, how is it so fattening? LOL.
There's just a few things I don't understand...I'll email you.

I don't like regular chocolate cake, but the recipe of the cake and frosting on the back of the Hershey's cocoa container is to die for, I bake it in 2 8" circle cake pans, and cut them in half (freeze to firm up.) make a double recipe of the frosting, and sprinkle mini chocolate chips inbetween the layers, and on top. It is the best chocolate cake I have ever had, except for maybe the one at Costco.
A Pecan Coconut Frosting or something like a German Cake frosting is really good on wacky cake! I really like the Pecan Coconut Frosting! YUM!
Oh yeah? Did you try to email me? Cause I didn't see anything! If not, I will talk to you later! :)
Pecan Coconut Icing
INGREDIENTS
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
3 egg yolks
1/2 cup butter
1 1/3 cups flaked coconut
1 cup chopped pecans
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
DIRECTIONS
In a heavy 2 quart saucepan over medium heat, cook the condensed milk, egg yolks, and butter 10 minutes, stirring constantly, until bubbly. Remove from heat, and stir in the coconut, pecans, and vanilla.
Allow to cool for 15 minutes before spreading on cake.
