These pics give a little explanation of what our experience was for family pictures yesterday! The children were totally tweaked(maybe from the rain??), Wise didn't hold still, MAter wouldn't smile naturally, Prince kept on putting his hands to his mouth and he was super cranky. It was chaos getting all of us ready and in the end, Sear's computer crashed and we weren't able to look at our results! It was a GREAT experience! Atleast we all color coordinated, our hair stayed in tact and we finally got this family photo thing taken care of!
We'll see what came out of this wonderful madness on Monday!

Moving adventures!!

Don't we all love the process of moving??
I actually hate it! Hence not much of anything has gotten done yet and we are leaving in 4 weeks!
We did clean out our master closet yesterday and it resulted in: 5 bags of clothes, shoes and bags for the goodwill and four big boxes of garbage. It sounds like we're pack rats but we're NOT! It's amazing how much you cumulate in a matter of a few short years! I am so overwhelmed with it all! How am I going ot get all of this stuff done?
Here's a list of things we have to gt rid of:

some pillows and a few other misc items...hopefully I got it all....
We're taking the rest with us!
Hey, if you want anything, have at it. Some is crap and we're throwing it away or giving it to the goodwill.
I am not fully aware of what we're REALLY doing yet....just not yet. It's a big change.

The Roaches have left.

Well, since I had my yelling match with the Rental Manager, some of the real issues have been taken care of. The very next day I expressed my deep frustration to her, she has the exterminator at my door, asking how the bug control was. According to him, he sprayed outside but the chemicals used are no where near they used to be and you have to do more than one treatment. I haven't seen one cockroach since. Not even the curb neat the road. That's where they nested. Luckily, we never had problems with them coming inside ever. These particular nasty bugs are oriental roaches and live in the dirt, near water and sewers. Ugh, so gross!
We still haven't been notified about the Sex Offender here. Which I think, legally, they are to notify neighbors ASAP. Who knows, he may not even be here anymore. I've never seen him out. I guess he was staying with some tenants here. Either permanently or temporarily. All I know is, he just got out of jail.
The inside of our building is still filthy. I am going to clean it myself today. THis will be the third time I've done this. I am going to notify the office of how many times I've cleaned. They pay cleaners to do it but they've neglected to do it lately. So, they need to know that I am doing it. They want to try to get me to pay a portion of teh water bill because when I used to faucet(to clean the outside of the building), it's a little corroded and I couldn't fully turn the faucet off the second time. I tried and tried for 10 minutes. I finally gave up, after Wise's crying fit, holding onto my leg, getting muddy and wet, PRince and MAter fighting, getting in my way and being loud. I threw the towel in and decided to rigg it off later. WEll, I totally forgot. TOTALLY. Yes, yes, I should've called the office but I forgot about it. There was too much going on. There's no way I can be charged for water. There's nothing in our contract that states to stay away from outdoor faucets. We were never notified and the faucet is corroded. I only used it ONCE to fill a big bucket(that leaked. There was no way I was going to haul a leaking bucket, with a crying 17 mo old, up and down 3 flights of stairs) so I could clean off the side of the building. So, there you have it.
I CANNOT WAIT TO BE A HOMEOWNER!!! Hopefully in the next few months, we'll be nestled in our first new home!

WE've worn out our welcome.

You know when it's time to go when issues continue to come up. I mean issues with your Lanlord/Property Management. Or even with the place you live at.
Since living in these apartments, they've gone down hill tremendously. We've felt at times as if we're living in the Projects! Not only that, it's apparent this complex is NOT condusive for little children to go out and play. We've had several complaints this past Summer from my kids and ME even being accused of using an out door faucet somehere I don't even know of. The kids went out and played with sidewalk chalk, they complained. I decided to wash it off with a bucket of water. I used an outdoor faucet, I knew was the only was that exsisted. They complained and Miss So'n'so yelled at me and bluntly hung up the phone. This is our person in charge of rentals. Okay, maybe I should'nt have used the faucet but I was cleaning up sidewalk chalk outside and felt it would be fine to use it. Then I get complaints over my kids toys and our stroller. Nobody in our building complained, so I don't know who the complainee was....they don't live in our building and the toys weren't obstructing any walk way. Then I'm accused of letting a visitor use our dumpster. That was wrong. It was our garbage in the back of her truck...seeing's how we don't have a truck.
Let me tell you the REALL issues that needed to be taken care of and seem to NOT get taken care of: We have a new registered sex offender that lives here now. There's been tagging done on the walls. There's a load of big cockroaches that nest just under the curb in front of the building and they're EVERYWHERE...we've been telling them for about 4 months now. Beer bottles and cigarette cartons are being left on the ground outside. Suspicious people and activity has been going on and a group of people decided to have a beer drinking get together on the side of the builidng. And trust me, these folks look like they cam right out of rehab or worse. The cadillac Converter was stolen off of our other car in the middle of the night. Teenagers during the School year love to hang out near here and have their, whatever they're doing sessions...it's nothing good. The inside of our building is filthy. I've gone out of my way to clean it twice, I've addressed Miss So'n'so about this and she still has done nothing for it.
So, issues with children going out and playing takes merit over the the issues I listed above.
Wow! I've had it here. It's time for us to get out of here!

DREAMS

I have very vivid, emotionally disturbing, stressful, intense and amazing dreams. I wake up, feeling as if I'm returning to my other life. I ask myself what these dreams might mean and why some dreams continue to reoccur. Some are so confusing and some are very emotional; whether positive or negative. Here are some subjects I've been dreamimg of and what they may interpret:

MY DYING (death):To dream of your own death, indicates a transitional phase in your life. You are becoming more enlightened or spiritual. To dream that you die in your dream, symbolizes inner changes, transformation, self-discovery and positive development that is happening within you or in your life. Although such a dreams may bring about feelings of fear and anxiety, it is no cause for alarm and is often considered a positive symbol. Dreams of experiencing your own death usually means that big changes are ahead for you. You are moving on to new beginnings and leaving the past behind. These changes does not necessarily imply a negative turn of events. Metaphorically, dying can be seen as an end or a termination to your old ways and habits. DOVER PICS!!!!

I took over 130 pictures and,well, I wont post them all!
We had a nice time getting away for the week! Three roudy boys in a little hotel room got a little hairy at times! SO we spent alot of time at the pool! On Wednesday, we drove to Killins Stae Park and played at their AWESOME waterpark all afternoon. Even Wise hung on for four hours in the sun! The kids loved it that much. And you wouldn't believe how cheap it was! It was so great.
Our whole trip is being paid for too!
It's good to be home again...now back to my normal routine!!

'Cuz we're goin' to Delaware! Delaware? Delaware? YES! Delaware! We're all going with Boricua to Delaware for his business trip! THis will make life so much easier. I honestly don't know what I would've done stuck in this house with all of these children! And now we're making a free trip out of it!

I've been on the search of family fun attractions around Dover. I'd love to hit up a beach but I can't find a good one close by. Rehobeth is too far for me and the kids to travel whiel Boricua's working. We should find one closer! I did find a fun little waterpark about 8 miles away and it's 2 dollars for adults and 1 dollar for kids under 12! It has slides, water toys and trinkets, a big pool and concession stands. Our hotel has an outdoor pool too. Hopefully we'll have good weather!

WEIGHT LOSS and Nursing

Yesterday I was weighed at my blood screening for my up and coming Bone Marrow Extraction. Ugh, yes! I'm doing it again! So I was weighed and the scale showed I have LOST OVER 12 POUNDS since February! Yes, OVER!!!!!! I am so anti-scale but in situations where you HAVE to be weighed, there's really no choice. I was welcomed to a pleasent surprise! I knew I've lost weight because of the way my clothes fit but I wasn't sure how much. I was about right with my own estimation. I estimated about 10 pounds but no; closer to 15 pounds! I'm right around the corner to my pre-baby weight when I was 21 years old! With my second preganany, I didn't gain very much weight at all and most of the weight was gained at the end of my pregnancy. I had the few extra pounds afterwards but I gained my weight while breastfeeding. I have a HUGE appetite when I nurse and I ate everything in sight. I gained weight nursing! I did with my first nurse-a-round too. Women generally tend to LOOSE while nursing because it says to burn more calories but I'm the opposite! I guess I take the extra 500 calories a day a little too literally! But then somedays I'd starve all day and my body would get in starvation mode. My body would in turn store the fat for energy. As soon as I finish nursing, BAM! The fat melts right off! I don't even have to try very hard either! My appetite decreases naturally and I can take my beloved supplements that I was unable to with nursing. It feels good to go to the Junior Section at the department store and try on size 5 jeans and they fit like a glove! My hips are still wider than pre-babies time but hopefully they'll get smaller in time or they'll just be bigger because babies spread those hip bones! Well, it doesn't matter to me. Just as long as I'm fit, have low body fat and look great, that's al I care about! The blood tech told me yesterday I have very big and good veins. That made me feel good! That's a good sign of someone being in shape and fit! Your veins get bigger the more athletic you become because your heart's going to naturally pump more blood.
I also take some helpful supplements:

~ Ultra Chitosan. I take it before I eat. It's a natural marine Fiber that binds the fat you eat and it's not absorbed into your system.
~ Phase 2 Carb Intercept. It's derived from White Kidney bean and it helps block Starchy carb foods from being absorbed.
` Other misc. herbal supplements that are safe and effective. If you want to know, ask me because I don't want to list all of them.
~ EAT FIBER! Also supplement with fiber and I suggest Psylium Husks.

I really love nutrition and learning the way the body metabolizes!! It's pretty cool!
Now, I'm off to go get some acupuncture for my nasty nasty cold.

Well guys, now I've come down with a serious cold/flu now. It's so crappy. I am feeling pretty awful. Thank my children for passing it down to me!
