SOOSIE'S WORKING ON HER FITNESS

I've been trying to get to the gym ATLEAST 3-4 times a week but the past two weeks have been rather lacking. I'm sold on yoga and do ATLEAST 35-40 minutes cardio session everytime I go to the gym. With diet....what's THAT? I don't diet but I like to watch my caloric intake. Sometimes I cheat! These pictures are just so funny! Especially the FIRST one! I had to post it!! Check out PRINCE!! I was cracking up! Now, all I need to do is, TAN! OH, then KEEP ON WORKIONG OUT to lose more poundage!!! We'll see how Soosie's OPERATION FIT turns out!!

The V Fam update

I think it'd be nice to let everyone know how the V fam is doing here in Utah! We've been here for two months already! WOW! And we're STILL trying to adjust!

We are still here at mom's house. House hunting is going a little slower than expected. We first need to bring in a more lucrative income for our lender for proof that, yes, we are making money. It's taking longer than we had in mind. Boricua will be having to take on another PT job and had an interview today. His hardware and software testing scores were the highest the company has ever seen! GO HIM! WE have to wait a few more weeks on that, however, he also was hired on for Educate Online, to do PT tech support work from home at night. He's just waiting for his schedule! He's still at Geek Squad and he's really tired of retail but never complains. I have just picked up 3 more hour and a half classes a week! I will be teaching Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. That's about all I can handle rightnow. Things are that much harder, with not having our own place, starting all over and dealing with kids. Prince has taken this change the hardest. He feels insecure and has diverted back into diapers, pretty much. Well, we DON'T put diapers on him but he feels really uncomfortable to go to the bathroom since we've been here. He's really clingy with me and throws some wicked temper tantrums. Last week he had an issue with sleeping in his room and has been missing his older brother. It's kind of caused me to feel guilty too. I fee like I've made a big mistake but then I remind myself that, that thought is totally irrational. Families move all of the time and things settle into place eventually. I just have no patience for it and that is indeed, something I need to work on.
I have met a great new friend who's been a total lifesaver. Talk about a small world, she grew up in MAryland and was in the Frederick Stake(Mormon Church)! We LOVE to workout and her daughter's name is the same name I've planned to name my daughter... if I ever have one(first person I met woh named her daughter this particular name and I've had my heart on this name since I was 17!). We have a total blast together. WE've been doing a yoga/tai chi/pilates fusion class on Fridays and it is such a GREAT way to end your week, or start your weekend!
Other than that, nothing miraculous or big breaks our way. Just small and continual blessings.

I can't tangibly touch him but I see him. He's right before my very own eyes. Vivid and glorious. He IS there... He is there....oh, he is here.
There's no smog or darkness...but only light and understanding....no 'whys' or 'what ifs'...I see him everyday.

He is there.
He is HERE. And he's waiting for us to reach out and touch him

NOVEMBER GIVE THANKS

Okay folks, it's November, the month of Thanksgiving. WEll, for the United States, that is. In Canada, it's in October. So therefore, it's the SEASON of Thanksgiving. There. I'm Politically correct now. lol.
The word 'Thanks' means: to express gratitude, appreciation, or acknowledgment. It's a verb. 'Giving' means; to present voluntarily and without expecting compensation; bestow, and is also a verb. There's several meanings for 'giving', depending on if the verb is used with or without an object or if it's used as a noun.

So, Thanksgiving, is combined by ACTION words and is now a Noun;the act of giving thanks; grateful acknowledgment of benefits or favors, esp. to God...

So therefore, I will GIVE my thanks almost daily on my AMAZING Blog! ;)
This is how I will GIVE my thanks:

Express my gratitude for my blessings.
Thank my friends & Family idividually.
Go out of my way to GIVE to others in NEED.
List the blessing I'm given daily.

As I do this, hopefully this ACTION will resonate in me and I can carry it daily, just as I walk (an action) every single day.

First off~ I am an American who stands neutral with Politics. My stances aren't based on just media, heresay and other people's opinions. I take GREAT pride in studying and researching things on my own and making a conclusive decisions based on my findings. When it comes to THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES; my Country and YOUR Country, I TRY to make the most LOGICAL and NON-partison decision, who will be my Commander In Chief. And with my Faith, I go in DEEP AND EARNEST PRAYER! I am NOT convinced by media, by the scare tactics and one or two deal breakers. It shouldn't be a decision seen on only the surface. It's a whole, HUGE and VAST decision. IT's who I SEE someone who convey's HOPE, UNITY, HUMILITY, DIVERSITY and INTELLIGENCE. Someone who makes bi-partison decisions and puts PEOPLE FIRST. It's someone who is a progressive, has hope for our future, wants to better the lives of EVERYONE and has achieved the AMERICAN DREAM! Someone who is a sYMBOL of a NEW GENERATION!!! CHANGE!! UNITY!!! BRIDGING THE DIVISION IN THIS GREAT COUNTRY( AS McCAIN JUST SAID!!!) BRINGING HOPE and making history! I can go into my social, economical and Foreign Policy issues but it'd be just too long! Ask me later ;)
No DOUBT, McCain has worked hard, served this Country and loves the United States and I THANK YOU, JOHN, FOR IT!...and am looking forward to seeing PRESIDENT OBAMA and SEnator McCAIN WORK HAND IN HAND FOR THIS UNITED STAT$ES OF AMERICA!!!!!!!

I'M GOING TO RULE THE WORLD!

HALLOWEEN!!!!!

This is our official first Halloween in Utah and we had a fun night! Prince and I made him a robot costume that he was, so so proud of. We couldn't call him by his name that night. His name was 'robot'. He'd press his felt button on his shirt to give him energy boost while trick or treating. Wise loved his doggy get up, at FIRST....then he hated it, then he didn't mind it after he noticed it was getting him CANDY! The neighbors were very generous with the trick or treaters, to say the least. All they got was chocolate...good chocolate...the KING SIZE candy bar chocolate! There wasn't one smartie or tootsie roll. Back when I was a kid, that's all we got! ONe of the neighbors welcomed us with warm hotdogs w/ optional ketchup. Then in the same cul de sac, we were invited in for hot cider and donuts. Yes, we were spoiled this Halloween. My niece also joined us and she sure was a treat..along with our treats! It was a fun night for the kids and fun for me and Boricua; seeing the joy on our childrens faces! Now it's on to the Holiday Season!
